Members of the Crowley Cousins family tree, who lived in Trenton NJ.

Joseph W. Berry
Born: 15 Sept 1824, Sussex Co. NJ.
Died: 25 Mar 1900, Hunterdon Co. NJ.
Who were his parents and what led him to be adopted as a young child by his uncle, Moses Farrow of Flemington NJ, as stated in his obituary?

Emily Hoffman Berry
Born: 08 Oct 1827, Hunterdon Co. NJ.
Died: 25 Feb 1898, Hunterdon Co. NJ.
She was the daughter of John J. Hoffman of Clinton, NJ. But was his known wife, Mary Aller Hoffman, her mother making Emily an Apgar, or was she the product of an earlier marriage?
